Delete your JustSaying account.

You can start deletion inside JustSaying or contact the privacy officer without reinstalling the app. This page is being prepared for the public iOS and Android launch.

Delete in the app

Open JustSaying, go to Settings, choose Safety & Privacy, then choose Delete Account. The app asks you to confirm before deletion starts.

Request deletion outside the app

Email privacy@justsayingapp.com with the subject “JustSaying account deletion request”. Send the request from the email address connected to your account where possible, and include the name shown in your profile. Never send us your password or an Apple or Google verification code.

We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. Hakeem Faider, the JustSaying privacy officer, handles these requests.

What deletion removes

The deletion process removes direct profile and contact details, payment instructions, push-notification tokens, private receipt and attachment files, and identifying support-report text associated with the account. Household financial entries that other members rely on may be retained in de-identified form so their shared ledger remains accurate.

What may remain temporarily

A deleted avatar may remain in a delivery cache for up to one hour. Encrypted backup copies may remain for the final production provider's documented recovery period and are not restored as active account data except through a controlled disaster-recovery process. The exact production backup period will be published before launch.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your JustSaying account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to prevent a future renewal.
